Jessica Dattalo, a licensed clinical social worker is an empathetic and collaborative therapist in Chicago who specializes in the treatment of adolescents and adults struggling with Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Eating Disorders, Depression, Trauma, Grief & Loss, Transitions, Perfectionism, Relationship Difficulties and Work/School related issues.
Jessica holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Before moving into private practice, her experience ranged from providing therapy in programs offering higher levels of care (from Residential to Intensive Outpatient), as well as working as a School Counselor with middle and high school students, facilitating crisis intervention and teaching Social Emotional Learning. Jessica believes that it is never too early or too late to begin discovering who you are and who you were meant to be.
She views each client in the context of their environment and through values exploration, skills training, thought restructuring and motivational interviewing wants to help you discover how to become your happiest, healthiest, and most integrated version of yourself. She believes that when we learn to develop a new relationship with our struggles and our emotions, we can learn to create the life we were meant to live.
Jessica is dedicated to integrating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into her sessions.
