After the terrible and horrific shooting in Highland Park, Illinois on July 4, 2022, the Chicagoland area as a whole has been struggling with the aftermath and in need of trauma support. Do not hesitate to reach out to a mental health professional for support if you are struggling with:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Irritability or hostility towards others
  • Flashbacks
  • Being unable to focus
  • Feeling fearful
  • Struggling with sleeping or eating
  • Heightened reactions (being on edge)
  • Wanting to withdraw from others, and avoiding
  • Feeling as if you can not perform regular responsibilities and self-care (ie. hygiene, attending work or school)
