Chelsea Dillavou, a licensed clinical social worker and registered yoga teacher, is a compassionate, kind and nonjudgmental in-office and online therapist who specializes in the treatment of adults and adolescents that are struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, body image, psychosis, life transitions and relationship stressors.

Most recently, Chelsea worked at the UCLA Adult Partial Hospitalization Program providing group and individual skills-based treatment to clients struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma and self-injury.
Chelsea’s therapeutic work is informed by mindfulness based approaches such as Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Yoga Therapy, as well as trauma specific protocols when indicated such as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Prolonged Exposure (PE). Chelsea uses these evidence based approaches to assist her clients in achieving their personal and professional goals by improving their emotional regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal skills.
A note from Chelsea
I decided to become a therapist because I believe in the healing power of a therapeutic relationship. My personal therapy style is best described as compassionate, honest and solution focused.
In my spare time I enjoy yoga, cooking and spending time with friends and family, as well as getting outside as often as the weather allows.
