A Note From Emily

I decided to pursue a career in therapy as a teenager due to my own lived experience and my professional interest in helping others help themselves. Throughout my schooling and training, I was privileged to witness the transformative power of therapy both personally and professionally. It is my goal to make you feel seen and heard in therapy while also offering insights and skills you can consider and apply outside of our sessions. My therapeutic style is non-judgmental, empathic, and direct. I’ll meet you where you’re at while we explore what brought you to therapy and provide you with new perspectives and skills along the way.

In my free time, I enjoy taking my dogs on adventures, trying new ice cream shops around the city, exploring different parks and neighborhoods, and spending time with my family and friends.

While her office is located in downtown Chicago next to Millenium park for in-person sessions, she also welcomes and serves clients for online therapy from anywhere in Illinois. Clients from the Chicagoland area may choose in-office or online therapy and usually commute from surrounding areas such as River North, South Loop, West Loop, Gold Coast, Old Town, Lincoln Park, Lake View, Logan Square, Wicker Park, Bucktown and many more.
