About Kelsey

Kelsey’s therapeutic approach varies based on what each client specifically needs. She has a strong background in CBT, DBT, Exposure Response Prevention, Behavioral Activation, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing. She will work collaboratively with you to explore core beliefs and values, identify unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviors, and introduce coping skills that will allow you to grow and heal throughout your therapy journey.

Kelsey holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University in Chicago. She completed her clinical internship working with children, adults, and family units who had previously experienced domestic violence. Most recently she worked in the Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs at Rogers Behavioral Health in Skokie. At Rogers, Kelsey specialized in individual, couples, and family therapy for both adolescents and adults.

I wholeheartedly believe in the power of therapy and the fact that everyone deserves a safe space to share, learn, and explore their own experiences throughout their life’s journey. My approach is best described as warm, compassionate, thoughtful, and direct. The idea of healing and growing is something that is continuous. We are the authors of our own stories, and we have the power to find our own narrative and write our next chapters.

In my free time, I like to spend time with my dog walking or running along the lakefront, hanging out with friends & family, and exploring different parts of the city

While her office is located in downtown Chicago next to Millenium park for in-person sessions, she also welcomes and serves clients for online therapy from anywhere in Illinois. Clients from the Chicagoland area may choose in-office or online therapy and usually commute from surrounding areas such as River North, South Loop, West Loop, Gold Coast, Old Town, Lincoln Park, Lake View, Logan Square, Wicker Park, Bucktown and many more.
